Core Discharge of Hydrogen Tube

This picture shows the fairly "tight" discharge in the Hydrogen tube. Hydrogen gas radiates primarily with two strong emission lines, one in the blue and one in the deep red portion of the optical spectrum. If the biological effects of the Rife Beam Ray system are due to penetration of light into the body, then a Hydrogen tube might be more effective than an Argon tube, but the difficulty of driving a Hydrogen tube are much greater than driving an Argon tube. The discharge is quite "solid" and visually appears to be pretty much of a single color at any power level or modulation frequency, except that at much higher modulation frequencies, the discharge "feels" as though it were much redder, particularly when using averted vision. (The slight reddish "core" in the gas column shown in this photo is an artifact of the digital camera used to take the picture.)
